I wouldn't mind Clemson.

These are the ten teams that founded the SEC (yeah, I'm not including the three that left):
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
LSU
Ole Miss
MSU
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
None of these teams are going anywhere unless they choose to do so...you late-comers on the other hand are easily replaceable.
As one of the late-comers I agree with you 100% and applaud your proclamation. The idiots in this thread who hated on Miss. State were mostly kidding I think. Most everyone who answered in this thread was just playing dickhead. The OP pretty much started a "Let's be assholes" thread here.
Sewanee left because the world grew up and passed them by. I'm assuming Tulane's reasons were about equal. Does anyone know why Georgia Tech left? Were they feeling slighted by UGA?

You are gushing over a school you never even attended, saying its the best. Like reviewing a restaurant that you never ate at. I'd say that is good marketing, if UVA is getting you and others to advertise, for free, a college you never went to. :)
I went to Clemson but I'm not going to advertise it unless they pay me. :)
I never understood how certain schools are said to be better because the subjects are the same at every college. Business is business, chemistry is chemistry, etc regardless of where it is taught. UVA may be mmore selective in terms of they take high GPA high school students and reject a lot of people but the subject matter taught at the schools isn't any different.

I think one Miss school for one NC school would be a good trade. then you would get two new regular season ACC-SEC rivalry with the two MS schools and NC State and UNC

Just TAKE two schools from the ACC and don't worry about any future rivalry!

Wanting to go independent like Notre Dame and Dodd getting in a pissing match with Bryant.

for who? the ms schools?
the ms schools carried the sec's banner most of the season. why so eager to dump them?
Can't see ACC coveting tv sets in MS. lol just not enough people there. if we ever had any teams bolt , West Virginia, maybe UConn, Rutgers would prob be the top replacement
I think texas am made sense for acc with Clemson and va tech also having military traditions, although would be hassle flying so far for games.
