Way to troll your own fanbase. I haven't read past the first 3 posts and I already know that this is 9 pages of red-faced LSU fans trying to argue that Matthieu is a great CB.
But he's not really.

He looked great in the national championship game.
Might not have happened without his skull f*cking he gave Arky.
If you knew anything about schemes on D, you would know why he was in the positions he was on a few pass plays...no need to change our D at ALL that game.....One score early would have made Bama change what they had to do and created more scenarios for our playmakers to do what they did all year to helpless teams like the Hogs

Bama wasn't going to change because you could've scored. We didn't just hand out TDs last year, so in all likelihood an early score for you would've been a FG, and we would've kept doing what we did.

How much better can the reigning Bednarik award winner get?

Probably none. Gino Torretta was the greatest QB of all time. Proof? Heisman, bitches.

Who were the finalists for the Jim Thorpe award?

2011 Finalist for Heisman Trophy Award
2011 Chuck Bednarik Award winner
2011 SEC Championship Game MVP
2011 SEC Defensive Player of the Year Award (AP)
2011 Finalist Walter Camp Player of the Year Award
2011 Cotton Bowl Defensive Most Outstanding Player
2010 First Team Freshman All-America
2010 Freshman All-Southeastern Conference
That's a good question regarding earning an award. Tebow won the Heisman as a sophomore, didn't win it again yet went 26-2 as a starter for next two years. For D players a lot has to do with getting opportunity, more so than O players. There was a reason QB's didn't throw at Mo very often last year. Tyrann seems to make his own opportunities though, I'm really looking forward to seeing what he does.

lol except for the long td pass we missed early in the game....

Didn't read the thread because I've read it about five times already.
It's time to see what TM7 can do now that's he's not a teenager anymore.

We can do the same thing. McCarron misfired on a wide open Smelley with room to run, he missed on Williams in the end zone, and Reid knocked that one ball loose at the 1.

Wasn't the point! The point was you said it would have only been a fg...I was showing you we very clearly could have had 7....didn't work out...oh well
We lost in January and we know it all too well. It helps that we did go to your house and shut you down. Deal with it....and I think you know exactly whats going down in BR this Novemeber.

Holy shite. You shut us down in our house? You barely beat us in OT because Saban shite the bed.
Can't wait for 11/3 though. Gonna be a good one!

YES...like I said, DEAL WITH IT.....you had 6 total points at your house against the #1 defense in college..

You are pathetic blaming Saban for that...there were plenty of opportunities for you guys to win...you were just unlucky and up against the best....
So, you got punked in your own house by LSU and your gonna get arse raped in BR in Novemeber and you know it....NO SHOT
Just deal with it...at least you allowed to play in the NC against a team that had already whipped your arse at home....and yall won..
You know your gonna lose 3 this year, right? If not get prepared, its how this stuff works after you get handed a gift like last year...
DEAL WITH IT
