Then why couldn't every other team do it that played the same teams we did? Ignorant statement.

You sound just like the media after the first Bama game. LSU didn't win the game, Bama gave it to them. Same concept. You are reaching.

Not flaming, but Morris Claiborne would disagree

Posters showing their ignorance of football. Yes, TM giving up ZERO TDS AND 4 catches, while playing man coverage is abysmal. It's actually a compliment. Zero TDs and 4 catches is getting burned when talking about TM because he usually turns this catches into fumbles returned for a TD.

The number #1 playmaker in college football.

It's gonna be pretty cool watching TM7 terrorize the sec, for the third straight year, on way to his second bednarik award and LSUs 3rd straight Thorpe award winner.

He is a good tackler and has a good nose for the ball, but he isn't half the talent of Eric Reid. Reid is actually a high character guy, a great student, and will be a much better pro. For some reason LSU fans seem to hype TM7 more.

There you go again, running that di(k sucker. TM won the Bednarik, not ER. As much as I love ER he isnt the player TM is. He just isn't. TM is a once in a decade playmaker. Period

I agree, ER isn't the player TM is, but he is a better DB.

No not second, but went ahead of Some very talented QBs and Pass Rushers. I see your point Though. Good QBs will always go first

That is what I'm trying to say. If any CB will go in the top ten in the 2013 draft it'll be Amerson. Milliner, Banks, and possibly Mathieu will be in the first round conversation, just probably not top ten.

Barkley, Mingo, Wilson, Montgomery, Amerson, Faulk or Fluker, Jarvis Jones, and Star Loutiwhatever may be the top seven imo, it depends how the season goes and which teams are picking where.

Not trying to flame here but IMO Claiborne was a far better DB than TM. TM was helped in part by Claiborne's presence on the other side and teams trying to go away from MC. Yes TM made the most of people working his side to stay away from Claiborne, but Claiborne was a better DB.

Look at the BCSNC as proof. Who did Bama pick on in that game? Not Claiborne. TM is a super talented player with the football in his hands and he is an above average DB, but his height, especially at the next level will be a detriment against the taller, physical receivers that are now envouge.

Still is a liability in coverage.

Also, take this crap to the Tiger Rant.

As a pure cover corner I agree, difference is TM7 is just a better all around player

He isn't a liability. His man coverage just isn't at an elite level. It's good, just not elite.

It's not even worth discussing if you really feel TM7 is a better player than Eric Reid. There atleast 7 players on defense in the SEC I would take before Tm7.

Awards are based mostly off production. I've seen mock drafts that had Rob Lester going before Mark Barron last off season. Because Lester had 9 picks in 2010, but we all know Lester is not close to the player Barron was.

The fact that you saw a mock draft with TM7 as the #2 player should let you know mock drafts are retaded this far out. I'm sure Les and Chavis would take Reid every time. That's why he was much more coveted out if high school, and will be much more coveted coming out of college into the pros.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on that and use the return MC had in Morgantown against WVU as my evidence that Claiborne was as good a return man as TM. Claiborne didn't get the chances to make as many spectacular plays because teams stayed away from him Ala Deion Sanders.
