What? LSU's 2014 8-5 season would've been Tenn's best record since 2007. Let that sink in. A season considered a huge failure by lsu would've been the best season Tenn has had in 8 years
Yes Tenn has a better alltime history than lsu but the bulk of that history came before 1970.

We have 5 titles since 1970. Also it's convenient your cutoff is 1 year after another title (1969) and 3 years after another one (1967). We have 7 titles in the last 48 years. You have had 7 titles in the last 54 years.

In our worst decade ever we only had 4 seasons of 4 wins or less
And we had back to back top 15 finishes in 96&97.
I'm not claiming lsu has a better history. Just that the bulk of your conf success was before 1970. That's a fact. It's no my opinion.

So 7 out of 13 titles coming pre-1970 is considered a bulk. Bulk should be considered if like 9 of the 13 came pre-1970. But 7 out of 13. That is one title away from over half of the titles coming post-1970.

No it doesnt. You said our 2014 team lost in the lowly music city bowl yet that our 2014 record would be the best record at tenn since 2007. In no way does that prove you've had or didn't have success post 1970.

I'm done for the night fellas. I actually pull for tenn if they aren't playing LSU. Living in the Boro I've met a ton of great Tenn fans. A good Tenn helps the sec.
