Burns takes too much blame for the passing game. Under Gus’s passing system, he does not use the middle 1/3 of the field and the TE/H Back is just a blocker. Again, Gus doesn’t have more than a two progression routes and up until this point only hired people who thought like him.

I’m not trying to troll here. I just wonder is a freshman quarterback can be ruined by getting put out there too early and getting his head all wacked. He may end up being great, who knows. I only really watched him closely in the LSU - Auburn game and he did not look great at all. He looked to be running for his life and scared to death. I know that Lee was ruined by Les in his freshman year. Maybe Bo will play better next year but I didn’t see any more than a very young freshman that was talented but in over his head.

His OC/HC didn't help him acclimate to this level of play and has failed multiple years to recruit an SEC level oline to help his QBs. It's come back to bite Gus in the arse because that defense was championship last year and that team should've never lost 4 games.

But Bo gets a brand new oline in 2020 and he'll a new starter at RB to carry the load now that Boobie skedaddled. Chad has his hands full.

Not having a check down is bad for any quarterback but especially bad for a freshman. A freshman needs to have a check down and have easy quick passes that gets the ball out quick. Asking too much from a freshman quarterback and putting them in bad situations due to scheme will frick a quarterback’s confidence up.

You are preaching to the AU choir man.

Bo has an abundance of confidence, he won't lose that no matter how his HC/OC uses him.

If the oline is struggling, a green QB and the running game hasn't been up to you program's standards in 2 yrs and the OC/HC can't see that a quick passing game would help?

Chad has the pieces in place to run his Offense. The OL will be as good as last year with better coaching . Bo will have more targets to throw to and a better RB to keep Ds honest.
