I Understand That The SEC Roots For Other SEC Teams When Playing Non-SEC Teams..
Most, but not all.
I personally root for all SEC teams when they play OOC.
I take pride in the SEC. Just my two cents.

You weren't asking me but I'll tell you that was a huge embarrassment that left me sick to me my stomach. As was UGA losing to Boise.

Some wineries serve brain with cheese, crackers, and of course...wine.
Hermannhof Winery in Hermann, MO has great chilled brain and an incredible view of the Missouri River valley.

The Boise/TCU argument has always frustrated me. A&M has a 24 game win streak against TCU. I understand they have a great coach, and they have won some big games, but if you don't go through the gauntlet of a real schedule, your depth never becomes an issue. TCU has crappy facilities, a tiny stadium, their 2 deep has 1 star players, and the last time they were in a real conference, they couldn't keep up. Seeing them get any sort of validation was ridiculous, and I always related my TCU logic on to Boise. Georgia losing to Boise was embarrassing to the conference. I hated seeing that.

We don't really root for each other as the championships are taking place. It's more that once another SEC team inevitably wins the national championship in a sport, we try to spin it in the most positive way possible for our own schools. That means we brag about the strength of our conference. It just gets mistaken for conference pride...

That being said, how many non-Arkansas SEC fans are rooting for Arkansas to win the CWS?
I'm tying my best to acclimate into the SEC way of thinking. However, I find it incredibly difficult to root for Arkansas. Why? I'm not sure.
I want to hate Arkansas. My DNA tells me that I must. I guess I'm having trouble rebooting my brain from the KU-type hatred and utter disgust that I was born with, into developing an understanding of a healthy and friendly rivalry.
At the moment, I'm 110 percent rooting against Arkansas. I hate that team. If anyone can help me come to grips with this, I'm open for suggestions. Is it bad to hate another SEC school like I hate Arkansas? Can you like a true rival? Can you ever truly root for a rival to succeed? I've been bred to believe the answer is 100 percent NO.
I may need help destroying my inner demons...
This says more about you than it does Arkansas.
Rivalries are stupid, IMO. Why would Mizzou or its fans want to recreate another Kansas-type relationship? It is akin to recreating an abusive relationship. Do you want to create a deep seated hate where fans attack each other, poison trees, teabag other fans or throw piss balloons? I certainly don't want that. I just want a fun experience for my family, friends and I.
