Your cred? This is a website, maybe you need to experience real life if you're worried about cred on a sports forum.

I am not sure if that is what he means. There was sensible posting going on, which doesn't happen often in Ole Miss/State threads. When you come in with comments that are so untrue, it is laughable, it usually starts a flame war.

His recrootin was better than Dan the man's. Didn't crooms beat a western division team besides ole miss?

Do you really believe this? Trying to figure out if you are fishing, or really believe what you say?

Hell the reason State fans like Mullen so much is that even with the quality of recruits Croom left him, he still had State ranked 15th in the country at the end of last season. (Yes, I realize we were 1-4 against the SEC West)

Wasn't one of crooms last classes in the top 25?

No, the 2009 class was 19th. Mullen had to do some serious recruting to keep that class intact. I contribute that class more to Mullen then to Croom.

But didn't you see my analysis?

None of this really matters.

Also, lulz at putting the interception leader...you're reaching.

Who cares? You'll be 6-6 with a loss to Tiger High. None of this matters.

Sub-par QB play (I dont think you guys get as good of play as Masoli gave you)

Masoli was a 5th year sr who had a ton of big-game experience. However, he did not have the luxury of an experienced OL. He was running for his life the first half of the season, even on damn screen plays. Our interior OL was a damn revolving door. My opinion is that whoever is playing qb for us will have a much better unit in front of them and will not have the pressure that Masoli had to make every play.

Our qb, whether it be Mackey, Brunetti, or Stoudt, will have 3 talented and experienced running backs lining up in the backfield next to him.
Our recieving corp will do nothing but improve over last year because of experience and...wait for it...our OL is going to be improved and allow for more of a vertical passing game. I am very confident in Logan, Harris, Sanders, Neat, Moncrief, Singleton, and Brassell.
Oh yeah, add in a qb's best friend - a pass-catching TE - which we have in Jamal Mosley (who has played under passing game coordinator Gunter Brwer) and I feel good about our passing game if we can protect our QB.

also should be noted that the Dolphins threw a lot to their tight ends with David Lee.

Good point. I think Mosely will have a good year and will catch alot of ppl by surprise, even Rebel fans.

All of this....

and just remember.....

Corps -> Group -> "Army CORP of Engineers"

Core -> Center -> The CORE of the apple that you should be eating instead of a bag of cheetos.

Of course you do. Let's give credit to the guy who recruited the kids already commited or heavy lean towards state for one month instead of the guy who recruited them for two years and got them to commit or almost commit to state. If that had more to do with Mullen then Croom then why hasn't Dan brought in a better class? Last year he had a 9 win season and actually recruited the kids in their junior year. You would have to land Ward, James, and Evans to have a Better class than what Croom got in 09

Isn't recruiting relative to on the field play? As Coonass has pointed out, in just two years, a good portion of the playmakers on the field are Mullen recruits.
