I don't think some LSU fans (assuming Jungle is a true LSU fan) will appreciate Miles' accomplishments until he's left. Obviously, you wanted to get a rise out of LSU fans by your subject title talking about "Alabama," but then spending most of your post talking about Les Miles.

Miles, in addition to being a football coach, is also a family man. Miles is also someone who enjoys talking to the media and the fans. You can juggle all of these things and still be a great coach.

On this morning's show, Colin Cowherd named Les Miles as one of three most underrated figures in all of sports. The other two were Chauncey Billups and Roy Halliday. Pretty good company if you ask me.

Some might say Les was lucky to land a job at LSU. However, the more I think about it, I think LSU is luckier to have a coach like Les. Miles is down to earth. Jungle, you can have all the prima donna coaches you want. I want Les Miles.

It was especially funny to hear the championship talk when Shula was the coach.

and the ranter hasn't even seen if the changes pan out or not. This might be the dumbest topic ever. Its sad that an LSU fan has came up with the worst topic in the history of the sec rant

No true LSU fan would say this. No matter what happens this season or the next, i'll be sportin my PG glasses. Fan stands for fanatic, not bandwagoner

If you're refering to delusion as part of annual national championship talk, you're right. (I don't talk smack anyway.) But, that delusional comment still applies to, oh, about 75% of the Bama fan base as well.

Imagine an LSU fan stating an opinion on an LSU board. It has nothing to do with you. Auburn was mention no where in this post, so just read on your own board where you always say" we can say what we want because it's an Auburn Board".

Hey Newb, STFU! (Always wanted to say that)
HBT is an LSU Fan - he's got the AU logo as a show of support for this weekend's baseball series. So YOU'RE on HIS board.

Let's put it this way. I've never been around a fanbase (Kentucky basketball included, as I lived there for 6 years) that expects a national championship as much as Bama fans (in general) seem to every season. I will grant you this; however, the Bama fans that I meet who went to school in Tuscaloosa are not near as delusional as the ones who just grew up Bama fans. In my experience, a lot of Tennessee and Florida fans can be the same way.

Hey... when we were 10-0 before we lost Closner (what year? 2005? Croyle on the cover of SI), we had a shot at it. STFU.

If you don't have high expectations, you aren't winning shite!

Look at the Barners. They're just as happy as piss to beat us or talk about us and shite like that. And what the hell has it gotten them??? Nothing since '57.

Hell, Tubby was a GOD to them for six flippin' years! And what the hell for? Beating us. I didn't see any NC rings. *snicker*
