Saban was just another solid coach when he came to LSU, the program also didn't invest in facilities and resources so he had to build that infrastructure.
When he was hired at Bama, he had already won a natty and had the infrastructure in place.

Damn why are yall still arguing in here. I literally was reminiscing about of the best performances ever in a national title game defensively and apparently hurt some feelings.
