We are not the only ones that notice it. I personally don't think it means anything, but I'm sure plenty people do.

And for what reason?
I know Saban and his family personally. They'd coach for the University of Poland before they'd return to Baton Rouge.

You're full of it. Most of us know Saban personally and I got to tell you it's just a job to him. As much as it hurts you guys to admit it; Bama is just a job. He does his best to excel for the team and you respect that. He has never however spoken ill of LSU or admitting he wouldn't consider it if it were ever a possibility.

When LSU gets rid of Miles in a couple of years
What a load of manure. Yea, a guy who had gone 34-6 until this year with a National title.Yea,we're going to fire him.
Is UAT going to fire Nick if he doesn't win the SEC next season ?

Is Alabama the ideal place for you?

"Well, I don't think that... I think Alabama is a great place to be," Saban said. "I think college football is the ideal place for the Sabans to be. I've said this many times before, when we left LSU, it was because we thought there was another challenge in the NFL that was sort of the last challenge to try to overcome, or whatever. But we love college football and we loved our experience here. We loved our experience at Michigan State, and we've loved our experience at Alabama."
quote:
"We love Louisiana," Saban said, "but I think the most important thing for the Sabans is that we're in college football making an impact on people with the program that will help them be more successful in life."

I want an explanation.............never mind I had doubts of this wanna be when he took the money to come here in the first place I am a Tide an true fan and this kinda talk keeps on walkin!......I don't care what kinda season Saban has had if he is not Tide and True then what?......the players are what made us today.....he's a coach(recruiter) but that is all.........if he stays he is never to go down as a "BEAR" or Stallings.............as a true bama follower I do not understand this kinda talk and it upsets me very much!
I want someome who bleeds crimson and white and this one doesn't.
I read when coach Bryant took the job he said it was like mamma calling and when she called you'd come runnin.............Then the miami dolphins offered Bryant 1.4 million to leave Alabama and coach in the NFL and coach Bryant said he would never leave for any amount of money................This comment from Saban really hit a nerve and a nd no matter what this coach will do he will never be mentioened in the same breathe as the Bear or Stallings.
And talk about delusional!

As far as Louisiana, LSU tried to hire him 2 years ago from Bama, LSU woul dhave fired Miles on the spot. Now, the fact is that Miles is still at LSU, and Coach Saban is still at Alabama, so do not try and tell me he LOVES LSU.......lol

Once again the media comes up with another dumb arse question for Nick.
When will y'all learn he is not your tipical coach. His mind set does not run along your traditional every day coach. He is above all that. He doesn't need the ego trip that usually goes with a coach.
Then there is this one!

If he loves the filth of LA then he can take his clorox with him and get back to that pitiful state. We (Bama) might take some hits on the redneck calls but unless you have spent any amount of time in LA then you don't understand what a backward and just nasty place that is. Nick...don't let the door hit you in your behind on the way out.

i would take him back in a heart beat, and i know he would come back in a heart beat.

Really? I just don't see him going back to LSU. I could be totally wrong though.

i def would but we have a coach and he hasnt done anything to lose his job so this obviously wont happen til later. saban initially wanted to come back to lsu, we already had a coach. im fine with miles and actually love les but if we ever need another coach he would be my first call.

He won't come back to LSU nor should we want him back. With Saban its all about Saban, not the school. So I don't think he'll stay at Bama as long as many of you think.
