Ahhh the old BIG XII defense gag. When you're getting your arse kicked in a football debate, just say "BIG XII defense".
Nah. I would rather say, "Iowa State".

Look at the 2015 Orange Bowl.
That season OU lost 1 game to a huge underdog Texas, then went to the Orange and got shutout the entire second half bc they met a team with a defense. Meanwhile, Clemson RAN all over OU.
Same things gonna happen. GA shuts OU's run game down, Mayfield throws a couple of picks, GA runs at will vs a worse OU defense than their 2015 D.

uess what though? Auburn went 14-0 behind a great offense. They could afford to give up points.
How has that worked out for the BIG 12 the past 12 years?
Y'all winning tons of championships with your souped up offenses?

Thank you! Thank you very much!
I'm about to go eat, then keep an eye on my fantasy football teams. It's playoff week!

Finally broke down and watched some Oklahoma offensive highlights vs TCU, the first one. Let's get to the meat of it, some of the ways TCU was burned, Georgia can gameplan to avoid effectively with that extra time. Georgia generally doesn't get hurt by passes to the RB outside of screens when they're overly aggressive.
The bigger issue, and I think I've said so already but if not, here it is, is ball over the top of the defense to wideouts and we haven't seen Georgia deal with true streetball like play yet from the QB. Georgia's effectively stopped running QBs but neither really tried to streetball it.

Think about this. They didn't play anybody with a defense for the title. they played Oregon. Not exactly the bastion of great defense. QUICK! What is Oregon known for? defense, or offense?
BTW, when Auburn played the team with a defense, (Alabama) Alabama held them to 28 points. If we hold Oklahoma to 28 points, Oklahoma will lose. I think you will score points, for what it is worth.

No that's not your issue is just "getting beat over the top". That's just ONE of your "issues".
And Baker isn't a "running QB"

This is the part that concerns me. There is no doubt Oklahoma has a great offense. All the back and forth here means nothing. The Oklahoma fans just want to come on here and troll. I mean, all we hear is "We have a great offense and we are going to beat you!"
Ok. They've said it. Now I wish they would go away. But they can't. They have something inside them that tears them apart if they can't hear they are legitimate from us. They want out respect and approval so badly it is killing them. Why else come to a SEC message board?

Ok. We are no match for the mighty Oklahoma machine. No one is.
Now will you go away?

Out of curiosity...did you go on an ACC message board before the 2015 playoffs and tell them all how great you are and how badly you were going to beat Clemson?
You did, didn't you?

I don't think there is an "ACC message board" anymore than there's a "BIG XII message board". And what does a playoff game from two years ago have to do with this game or how Georgia will do? Is Georgia Clemson now? Is Fromm DeShaun Watson caliber?

Here's the two defensive issues:
1. Ball over the top of the defense.
2. Streetballing or playground like QB play. (??? a real mystery what's going to happen.) This is NOT being mean or discriminatory, as Aaron Rodgers is often described as that.
That's really it. I'm being serious, what I noticed the most out of what I watched, I know Georgia can take it away if ready.

Nope. No it is not. I assure you Kirby Smart doesn't think you have "two defensive issues and that's really it".

I have no desire for them to go away. I want them here on Jan 2. Poor Oklahoma! They don’t have any idea what the SEC is capable of doing to them. I’d really like their reaction after the game but I doubt we will get it. Something tells me that we won’t see CharlotteSooner and his pals after the Rose Bowl.

They're not the only, but they're the biggest because one is a mystery in what's going to happen and the other is a weakness. We can get technical and list all of the others. But I will say this, people that say "spy Mayfield" don't even have the slightest clue. His running should be treated like Rodgers' often is in the NFL. What's more likely to beat you is what I listed or not being prepared for Anderson's versatility at RB. That's what stood out for me the most when I took the time.
Posted on 12/17/17 at 11:24 am to SECFan1995
What's going to beat you is none of the things you listed. What you listed "over the top" is just the result of being beaten.
Posted on 12/17/17 at 11:36 am to CharlotteSooner
No Charlotte. Georgia isn’t Clemson and Fromm isn’t Watson. Georgia and Fromm, when they clicking, are SO much better.

A Clemson board, then? Did you go tell the Clemson fans how bad y'all were going to beat them? Did you brag about how they would not be able to stop the powerful BIG 12 offense?

Nothing. Not a thing. So, did you go tell them how bad you were going to beat them? Or are you so desperate for our approval you just decided to tell us how good you are?

Who said he wasy? Are you putting words in our mouths? I just wanted to see how much more desperate you are for our attention and approval you are than you were for an ACC team.
