A&M is 0-4 against Petrino. Will be interesting to see how this weekend goes against a good offense. A&M has played only one good offense and gave up a bunch of points

Oh, I think A&M wins because the Arkansas defense is utter trash. I just think they give up a bunch of points as well, because their defense isn’t actually elite and is a product of the schedule.

I’m kidding, of course, but the skill difference showed up in 2020 when we played at College Station. I’m hoping the same is true of this Saturday.

Does that mean that the defense will be adequate or even good against good sec competition ? Because we don’t have Georgia or Alabama left on our schedule so we just have to be able to hold our own against good and average

I think A&M’s defense is solid.
It’s a veteran group that has seen growth. It should end up being one of the better defenses in the country. Playing at home at night has helped the numbers but it’s still a defense that fields a ton of experienced players and then a sprinkle of young talent.
