Or it means with the change of philosophy, certain players may be better suited doing different things Believe it or not, not every defensive coordinator wants the exact same thing at every position.

I'm just going by what the coaches are saying and what we saw last year.

The coaches have said as of spring practices that our secondary is the weakest spot on the team, next to LB.

Having Taver as a secondary coach is great, and jucos coming in at LB we could see a stout defense, however that's based on intangibles and is contrary to what the coaches have been recently saying.

It's amazing to me that so many Arkansas fans believe they are going to have a major turnaround in 2013 after their disastrous 2012 campaign. Here's the bottom line - the 2012 Arkansas Razorbacks football team just wasn't that talented. Any bozo can win 8 or 9 games per season if they have talent on their team. Heck…Mike Shula won 10 games in 2005. Mike Dubose won 10 games in 1999. A team that finishes 4-8 in the SEC has a lot of work to do. It'll be at least 2015 before Arkansas is in the conversation again. I may live to eat my words but I'm basing this off of past history.

Uh most Arkansas fans think we'll win 5-7 games depending on who you ask. Im not sure I would consider that delusional.

So essentially losing 3 receivers and a couple players on defense turned an 11 win team into a 4 win team? Come on man. I agree that our 2012 team wasn't as talented as 2010 or 2011 but to say that 4 wins was our ceiling last year is beyond retarded. Yeah a bozo might stumble upon a 10 win season every now and then when the stars align but look at how many times bozo coaches DON'T win 10 games. There are dozens of them. Every year. What you used is what we call an "isolated example." The team was plenty talented but when you play in the toughest division of the toughest conference in college football, you aren't gonna accidentally win 10 games. You need coaching. That's what we didn't have last year. That's what (by all indications) we have now. Do I expect 10 wins in year 1? No. Everybody on the team, including many of the coaches, is learning a brand new system with new philosophies and all the players are shaking off the rust from a year of sloppy, lackadaisical practices. I'm confident we'll be back up there in 2-3 years though.
