Big 10? That's like winning the SEC in basketball

If the Sec was the 2nd best basketball conference in America your analogy would make sense. As it stands, your analogy is poppycock and I will not stand for such.

I honestly don't see how you equate winning big 10 titles with being succesful in the SEC. I mean last year Wisconsin finished with a 7-5 record and the only reason they got to play in that Big10CG was b/c OSU and PennSt were ineligible.

Also, are you trying to claim the big10 is the second best football conference?

shouldn't you worry about winning 2,3, and 4 first?

I think he is based on the fact they let Ohio state beat them a few years back

Duh. Do you think there's a different #2? If you say PAC 12 you should just go ahead and take a quarter, go downtown, and have a bum reattach your balls for you.

Luckily he coached more than one year in the Big 10.

Has the big 10 been successful at anything since winning the NCG over a decade ago?

Dude, if you want to argue who the 2nd best conference is, then give your pick. Big XII? Pac 12? ACC?

I'm not claiming it either but lets not act like going 68-24 in any of the Big 5 conference is an extremely easy thing to do. Thats just ridiculous. It's not like he was having 10 win seasons with Bama, LSU or even Ohio St or Michigan level talent. He was winning with extremely low ranked classes.

Its not a far stretch to think he can continue being successful with a better quality athlete that he will be able to get here in the south.

Who cares? He was 37-19 overall. Petrino's record was 17-15 here and he had a bad record against the top teams too but yet we still went to top bowl games.

We've beaten Bama one time in the past seven years and yet have still played in two Cotton Bowls, a Cap One and the Sugar Bowl in that timeframe.

It will take time to be able to run over bama and lsu dlines. heck even ole miss and auburn dlines now for that matter.

As we have seen just spread the field and those top defenses will fold like a blanket but with bb style he will need several good ol and rb classes to even think about power running over an sec defense
