DCRebel, or any Ole Miss fan, are there ANY bad areas of Oxford? All of the times ive have been there its always seemed super nice and clean and rarely have I heard of any majors crimes at Ole Miss or in Oxford. With that Said I usually am only around Campus (if I come for a game) or on the square.

Off of Highway Six if you head East there's a bit of a rough patch on the edge of town but that's really it. There isn't much in the way of violent crime in Oxford, but there are thiefs that love to swoop in from the sticks during football games and snatch up people's shite while folks are at the Grove and stuff. I even heard one story of a guy who tried to walk right into the Tri Delt house and make off with some jewelry. Thankfully, a security guard saw him and accurately thought "you know, I don't think a skinny meth-head looking guy with a Tony Stewart shirt on got a Tri Delt bid this year" and snagged him.
