for each respective team? 40-50? 50-60?

Disclaimer: not discounting MSU bringing 43 scholarship players to the Egg Bowl...it just made me wonder approximately how many players actually play in a typical SEC game...

A 2-deep depth chart is 44, not counting special teams.

NFL Roster is 53. Of course they can add free agents and practice squad players, but on game day they have 53, and not all play.

More importantly are what positions? MSU has 43 scholarship players and like 55 total players. This is manageable, but not ideal. But if entire position groups are knocked out, that's a problem.

That’s already been the case for us all year at QB and Safety. Rogers and then a walk-on at QB.
