The OM bowl game is within 3 hours of 95% of their fans... on a weekend. The MSU game is midweek and require many to take off work to travel. The idea that OM somehow travels better as a fanbase is patently false.

In modern history, MSU has played in such bowl games 3 times(within 3-4 hours of the majority of the fanbase).

In 1991, we set the all-time Liberty Bowl attendance record. In 2007 we broke our own record. That record has stood for 21 years now.

We put the 7th largest crowd in Independence Bowl history in the stands in a driving snowstorm -- in which many aTm fans couldn't even travel to the game due to road conditions. It was the 2nd most watched Independence Bowl of all time in tv ratings.

We also put 7k more fans in the stands for the 2011 Gator Bowl vs Michigan than Florida did for the 2012 game vs Ohio St. That game is played 70 miles from their campus.

Pinky swear it! That's pretty funny -- since it's based on nothing. We had 40k + in Nashville last year. Not our fault Wake only brought 14 fans -- Just like it isn't our fault that Northwestern is going to do the same this year.

Let's see how many we pack into Reliant next year for the kickoff game -- with an opposing fanbase that will actually bother showing up for that one.

Sounds good. Maybe you'll stop lying to yourself when it's right in front of you.

But you won't -- no matter how much empirical evidence is placed right in front of your face.

It's hilarious that this cat thinks they travel better than State. We have always traveled better than OM and we always will travel better than OM. We have a larger fan base and a fan base that supports their team more so, regardless of records.

Wow what a load of bullshite. You might have a larger fanbase in MS, but ours is larger overall.

And did you not see what we brought to Dallas, which is also far away?

Too bad you'll never get there. The Gator Bowl is probably the best State will do.
