It is in the thread somewhere. I know we tried to schedule Buffalo, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, and Louisiana Monroe but you guys had them locked down.

I notice you forgot to mention we also played Clemson twice, Georgia Tech, Boise State (when they were ranked #5 in the Nation) Oklahoma State and Colorado.

How many of your OOC opponents were as good as those?

Instead you were busy locking down Nevada, Ball State, Western Carolina, Lamar, Rice, SMU, Sam Houston State, UTEP...very impressive. You did get Arizona State, however.

I see several mistakes here.

First West Virginia was a Bowl game and not scheduled.
ASU is impressive, though.

Duke was also a Bowl game. Not scheduled.

Hey....it is still impressive. We can all point out how most of the opponents are weak teams, but truth is every team in the SEC has been beaten by a weak team at one time or another. So, it is impressive that you have won 19 OOC games in a row.

ETA:

I see that the streak includes bowl games and regularly scheduled games, and you DI play, and beat several good teams in the bowl games, so I would say congrats ARE in order.

The longest streak is what it is. The thread isn't "Texas A&M has the longest streak against the most awesome teams ever"
But kudos to Georgia for scheduling good teams

It's Texas A&M has the longest streak of consecutive OOC victories

They are OOC teams, according to ESPN they were victories that were not members of our conference

It's not complicated

That's a lie. I did not forget. I purposely left those out to make the post funny. I knew a Georgia fan would jump onto this pretty quickly.

You guys have definitely played a much tougher OOC schedule than we have. There is no doubt at all about that. Not that it matters but... we actually had a long term game scheduled with Arkansas as one of our future OOCs. We joined the SEC so this went away.

We have picked up at least one tougher OOC opponent for the future. UCLA is one of them.

Not trying to offend you. You guys schedule and play tough OOC games. Always have.

It actually was funny. Notice in a post above that I did an ETA and gave you guys due credit for winning so many in a row. You did play some impressive teams in the bowl games and won. AND, even if you did not play any impressive teams we all have lost to less than impressive teams in the past because the players took the teams lightly. It is not easy to win 19 consecutive games in a row no matter who you play. Therefore, congrats are in order.

ETA; Again

I HAD heard that when you came into the SEC there were problems getting good teams scheduled for OOC games, so we should all understand that. I have also heard that you guys are scheduling some tough OOC games in the coming years. I should not have insinuated that you guys duck good competition.

I have no problem with A&M. You have a team that is fun to watch. I hope you continue to have exciting teams. AND, I for one think Chavis will do very well for you.

LSU had 38 rushes during that game. Are you saying Fournette could only be given 11 of those because there was no opportunity?

Your coaching leaves a bit to be desired....just like ours does at times. But if you look they made the same mistake against Arkansas.....another notable loss for you last year.

They think questioning the current coaching staff somehow makes them a bad fan. But then as soon as one of those coaches leaves they were horrible at their job the whole time. It makes no sense. Every other fanbase has zero problem questioning their current coaches

Evidently, it is complicated for some. No names need to be mentioned because sadly enough, it's obvious to all.

Damn, I went to bed only to witness a bunch of burt hurt Aggies mad about the fact that THE REGULAR SEASON is characterized differently than BOWL SEASON.

In Les Miles 11 years coaching football for the tigers he has NEVER lost to an OOC opponent in the regular season........

He is 50-3 in OOC games..........and LSU is on a 51 game win streak in regular season OOC games which is most in NCAA history.

congrats on the streak.
