I like Jeremy Pruitt. He's proven himself to be a great football coach with extremely successful stints at Alabama, Florida State, and Georgia. Pruitt's problem at Tennessee is chemistry. Pruitt doesn't fit in as a Vol. The odd feel and malignant undercurrent sewn by Vol fans undermines Pruitt's authority and infects the locker room with apathy and negativity. Pruitt & Tennessee recruited pretty well finishing 20th in 2018 and 12th in 2019. They should have blown Ga State off the field but they didn't play inspired confident football - and Pruitt is going to pay the price for the defeat with his firing before seasons end - and he and Tennessee football will be better off for it. IMO - the Vol fans have created a toxic environment that permeates every layer of Tennessee football and Vol Nation itself is as much to blame for this loss as anyone.

You seriously blame the fans for that?
