How long is Alabama stuck with Deboer?

Seven-year contract extension worth $87.5 million that runs through January 31, 2033. Alabama owes 90% of remaining compensation if fired without cause. Clearly can't keep up in the NIL era. Things are looking bleak.

I enjoy making fun of Alabama when they suffer just because so many of their fans still think that there's some sort of Bama mystique and other fanbases are still in awe of their program, even though Saban's been gone for a while now and they have a bad habit of losing 4 games.
But I think Deboer will figure it out in the long run. He did good in the portal and improved Bama's roster this season, even though they had the second most players at the NFL Combine and a lot of former big high school recruits transferred out. Also must give him credit for fixing the running game during the off-season. One national championship about every 6 or 7 years is the kind of coach that I think Deboer is, which is still really really good.
Beginning next year, at a place like Alabama, it will be all about winning a few playoff games. Winning a national championship will become more like college basketball, where the best team during the regular season doesn't win the national championship most of the time. But then Deboer would have to break through eventually win a naitonal title at some point in the next 5 years, or he'll be run off.

If Deboer got fired before LSU or Auburn beat him that would be hilarious
