How good could Tyrone Prothro have been if he didn't break his leg? I think we as fans got screwed out of something unreal!

i dont think it would have been that special. I mean he only made like one to two big plays and everything else he was just kinda there

well he was great before the leg break so Im pretty sure he would have still been great if that hadn't happened. When that happened, I knew the season was up in smoke. he was the only homerun weapon we had on offense. I loved watching him play.

why? i mean he was the best player alabama had that year...he was good but no where near amazing

Im a huge SEC fan. You are just an alabama fan. Sit here and tell me you would be talking about prothro right now if he didnt make that amazing catch against southern miss. If that was overthrown or dropped, there would be no mention of prothro

He was a fantastic college player, but I'm not sure he would've gone much further than that because of his size.
If by 1 to 2 big plays you mean 1 to 2 big plays on SportsCenter per week. Yeah you're right. He made big plays every single week. If not as a receiver, as a punt returner.
I don't think he was all-world. I don't even think he was All-American. But he made things happen a lot to help win games. LSUSteltz obviously doesn't pay any attention to other SEC teams.

He was 2nd team SEC his Junior year and he only played half of the year!

Way to take my words out of context! I wish I never even brought it up! I was just trying to pay homage to what I thought was one of the best players in the SEC i the last 5 years.
