the caliber of Marcus Freeman

guy steeped into a program that was winning 10-11 games a year. He has sustained it but how does this make him a great coach? i still think he is unproven.

CBK left ND 11-1. Freeman is the number 7 seed. But sure...

I’ve been looking for a video clip, but on his podcast, Brady Quinn essentially admitted that ND has given Freeman more resources than BK had. When BK left they had no NIL collective which has since changed, also they finally built the nutrition center which was a point of contention in BK leaving.

Freeman has done a good job and his team doesn't beat itself, at least after the Northern Ill.

That said, it is a severely down year for teams at the top. Notre Dame is where they have been recently but the top teams have come back to earth.
