Yes, our defense still has much room for improvement. But we have been improving each season. I think we had the 5th best D in the SEC this season, and if we can continue our progress and field a top 3-4 D next season then special things could be in the works.

There will never be another QB like Mallett. But his limited mobility really hurt us when it really mattered at times this year. We will plug in a QB's with just as accurate arms and better mobility and our O will be sick.

I think AR is a top 3 defense, and a more clutch QB away from the SECCG and a victory. I'm not willing to give Wilson those keys yet, but we shall see. I'm a big believer in prove it to me first, which I'm sure you can tell by this dialogue we have just had. FTR, I'm not pulling against AR, I just want to see them be elite on a more consistent basis before I name them a top tier program in the SEC.
