Hey if any LSU fans don't mind answering since we're on the subject of next season's RB play, what did you think when Eddie Lacy went off in the first three games of the season last year? I think after three he had just as many, if not more yards than Richardson, and looked like a Heisman hopeful at that point. I know one of those teams was Kent State, and the other was North Texas, but still.

Honestly, you answered for me. You were playing teams that are worse than scrubs. As the Penn st fan said ,with your oline , a rb would have to really suck to not get good yardage.

ETA I understand you will want to meet at Sonic after I insert this fact Lacy had a better yard per carry vs Penn State than Wisconsin's Monte Ball

Yeah bitch, it's on now. The interwebs is super cereal shite. Don't get fricked up. I like E Lacy. I really do. But he is no where near the talent that TRich is and some Bama fans act like he is.

Hey , what do you think Penn St's record would've been , had the scandal to end all scandals, not broken? Seriously.

Well the thing is no one in college football next season is near Richardson's level. Production wise I think Lacy COULD match him, but probably won't. Richardson is going to be elite in the NFL for around 5-7 years, yes, that long, and then be a consistent 1,000 yard guy for the remainder of his career, maybe an occasional off season.

Lattimore, Davis, neither of them are on Richardson's level, and USCe and Arky fans think these guys are the shite, so let's hate on them too.

It even close. The nfl draft will show you that Lacy is no where near the talent TRich is. You prob know how rare it is to see a rb taken top 5. Hell top ten. At this point Lacy is a 3rd rd back. I do expect Jim to move up to 2nd rd if he can stay healthy all year. No team will take a rb ,early in the draft, who never stayed healthy for a 13/14 game schedule. You know this though

While I have a huge man crush on TRich( what man doesnt respect another man who can bench 450+ at 18 yr old), I think he will have to somewhat change his running style to stay injury free. He doesn't like to shy away from contact, but he will have to in the nfl.

Come on now. That homerism is showing a little bit now. If Lattimore hadn't gotten injured, he could've been close to TRich

Scandal or not Penn State was not very good last year we won five game by less than a td over Temple,Ohio State,Illinios,Indiana & Purdue.

The coaching change is addition by subtraction 5 of the 10 former staff members never left Happy Valley to recruit.

PSU is located in the middle of nowhere and struggles recruiting hood rats to a place that is over 90 % white

I don't believe so, and the reason I don't believe so is Lattimore always seemed inconsistent to me. Potentially he's sort of close to Richardson, but his play was inconsistent. He can have a 200 yard game, then a 40ish yard game. Yeah, Trent had a bad opening game, but remember the O-Lline was still meshing and rusty in that game when he was in, and he was only used to rush for short yardage so the QBs could pass.

I'm sorry, Rickdaddy.. I don't have a bone to pick with you. I don't hate facts, I actually pointed one out for you.. The last 30 years have been pretty even between LSU and Bama, and that probably won't change anytime soon.. Both sets of fans should enjoy the good times their team is having right now..

True, I can remember a lot of times where he could've cut outside and had huge gains, but he ran it up the gut so he could carry the pile.

No. Just no.
A 1 win Indiana team took everything you had. You scored 16 points against them.
A shitty ILlinois team held you to 10 points.
Penn state was no where near VERY GOOD.
Im
Not tryin to flame. I think you're a decent poster. You might ride Bama's dick a little too much for my liking , but to each is own.

You are failing to take into account Latt's oline. Latt will never run behind a great oline. Something TRich has always had. Latt has an avg line but was one of the top backs in the SEC. Unless Garcia was playin well, which was 1out of 5 games , Latt is their only offensive weapon. Now I dot think he is on Trent's level, but pre- injury, he was on his way to getting close.

Penn State's returning tailback is better than any LSU back but knowing Silas Redd is one play away from an ACL I will trade you one star for your rotation of four

Paterno was no more than a mascot, the last decade.
He was out of touch he and 4 members of his staff never left campus to recruit.

I am glas his stupid rules (no dreads, no facial hair, no earrings, no hat indoors) are gone

I agree he is good but he isn't better than all of our rbs. A few of our rbs have far more upside than Redd.
