Problem is, that would have enabled the fish eating leprechauns to get in. I'd rather the Southland champion make it than those fake clowns.

The issue of two G5 teams being in the playoffs isn't the committee's fault. The conferences told the committee to rank the teams AND for the five highest conference champions to get invited. Why do people not understand this? With the rules as they are there will always be at least one G5 team in the playoffs. This year there are two G5 teams because the ACC champion, Duke, is terrible and not highly ranked.
To get rid of the G5 teams we have to change the rules and instead simply invite the 12 highest ranked teams.
