In any other week, if you lose, you fall in the rankings. LSU fell when they lost to TAMU. UGA isn’t any different. I could see something different had UGa been ranked higher, like #3 or #2. It just doesn’t make sense to have them stay at #4.

They aren’t going to.

The playoff does not pick the “best 4”

Not be penalized? They are about to knocked out of the playoffs.

Sure it does. If we played Northwestern or Texas we wouldn’t have a loss yesterday

Why do you want to penalize or reward anyone? You select the best 4 teams based on the criteria you're given.

Why should Ohio State bearing Northwestern tell us more than Georgia playing Bama

Unfair to Bama to play UGa again. It won’t happen

Like it or not, UGA losing to LSU is what killed their chance.

Also, I admit UGA had something to do with it, but Bama had their worst offensive performance of the season. Tua, Jeudy, Ruggs, and Smith ALL had their worst games by far. Yet, Bama still won.

I would be all for UGA being in if not for the LSU loss.

And before you say Bama doesn’t want UGA again, Bama at their best would be much different than yesterday.
