I'd take him.

His teams were competitive at WVU and Michigan. He couldn't win enough games at Michigan because his defense is bad. He runs a 3-3-5, something he just needs to fricking abandon altogether. So he needs hire a DC to run a 3-4 or a 4-3 and just work on the offense and recruiting. I think he'd do well at Ole Miss (meaning that we'd be around a 7-5, 8-4 type team year in and year out, with about a .500 winning % in the SEC).

Quite the opposite actually. We will give the new HC leverage in who our next AD is going to be. That's a plus

Won't matter who the AD is. Mike Leach will be the next coach.

Its already been discussed. The selection committee has come up with several points of why OM is an attractive job and that is one they are going to sell. HFC is much more important than the AD. Its important they get along and letting the HC have a say in who is boss is going to be is a huge attraction.

According to multiple sources...it is not likely at all.

When a source is co chair on the search committee I have no reason not to.

Might as well tell his name now... Spit it out. Someone on the OT would love to do the research to find your "source".

I propose that if Mike Leach is not named the next Ole Miss head coach then RebelGator has to sport an Arkansas logo for the following month after the announcement.
