Dude, Georgia has won like 3/4 of their games the past decade and won the SEC a handful of times. They have been far more relevant than Auburn

If we win the SECCG game this we will have the same number of SEC division and conference titles since 2000. With the natural advantages they have over a school like Auburn that should be considered an underachievement.

How many of those wins and titles has Georgia had to vacate or forfeit?

we should consolidate all "Georgia Underachieves" threads into 1 huge stickied thread. More efficient.

Would you drop Richt after the season if you knew you could get Mushcamp?

Why are you so sure? They have been big time underachievers and progressively gotten worse then last three years. It's basically the exact same trend as AU the last four years of Tuberville's tenure.

05 AU- Replacing a lot from and SECC team goes 9-3 wins big rivalry games young stars emerge.
06 AU- Rides that momentum to a high preseason ranking and goes 11-2 with two spankings, unlucky not to win the West.
07 AU- Gets off to a terrible start and salvages a decent 9-4 season wins rivalry game at the end but signs of slipping are there.
08 AU- hire a new OC to try and revive program but the bottom falls out team is terrible coach gets fired.

07 UGA- Goes 11-2 unlucky not to win the East young stars emerge.
08 UGA- Rides that momentum to preseason #1 ranking and has a good but overall disappointing season losing two games in ugly fashion.
09 UGA- Replaces several key pieces and manages a decent but disappointing 8-5 or 9-4(can't remember exactly) season with some embarrasing losses but wins rivalry game at the end but signs of slipping are there.
10 UGA- hire a new DC to stop the bleeding, doesn't work, bottom falls out, team is bad will be fortunate to make a bowl... coach gets fired?

Because the AD has said that he will be back next year. Even before this year in the summer, I said even if we went 3-8 Richt wouldn't get fired. With Richt's track record he's not going to be fired for having one bad year (and this is his first BAD year). 8-5 isn't good but it's not the norm. 10 wins a year is the norm. He's not going to get fired for a 2 year downswing. He'll be given next year at a minimum.

If Auburn wins the SEC this season that will give them as many conference titles in the past decade(two) as UGA fwiw. Breakdown for last decade would be: LSU 3 SEC titles, UGA 2, UF 2, AU 2, 'Bama 1.
