I saw on the Florida board where several gator fans were talking about getting Urban to come back and fix the recruiting issues.

I will say Urban is a top notch recruiter. But after he QUIT on you guys and threw your whole program into the disarray ,that you are just now recovering from, WHY would you want that guy anywhere near your program.
He went straight from y'all to OSU and proceeded to make a mess there as well.
( although he did recruit well).
He has proven to have no character, play favorites, have a win at any cost attitude, and a proven quitter. Just don't understand how you could love your school and want to subject it to this poison.
Just curious. Not trolling guys just trying to understand.

I don't want to attack you because you seem like a nice guy, but I think you are making a big deal about a couple of guys talking on the internet. We have a coach who has done pretty well so far, so I think your point is moot.

Don;'t you love your school.
I'm not trying to stir anything up or troll , but I hate quitters and just am trying to understand why Urban would ever be thought of as a good choice.

I love to win but there are lines I wouldn't want to cross to do it.

I agree,
I live in Florida and a surrounded by gator fans. Most of them love the program and while they appreciate the winning , are glad Urban is gone.
I think Dan is a good hire and will continue to bring your program back to championship level.

It just seemed to be a prevalent attitude on the board.
Maybe I did over react.
I for one liked when Florida and Bama were battling . Good for football.

Yet another example of why this LSU website needs at least a 3-month onboarding period before being able to start threads.

Agreed.

Some of our fans hate that we sit on top of so much talent and continuously get beat in recruiting by half a dozen teams on the reg, but there is much more to it than meets the eye.

Ooo. Game, set, and match there. That pretty well sums it up.
