It's not a knock on him. It simply explains why his ypc is so high. It will drop back down next season when he moves into the starting role, it almost always does.

But you also have to take in to account he is not running behind 1st team OL on some of that high ypc.

Right but you know as well we do that lsu and bama both have depth. SO although lacy may run behind the 2nd OL, to kent state and north Texas, it's very little difference

So at what point in a game is LSU usually up by 15? Does that mean that the guys who get the carries then won't be as good next year? LSU's 1-5 is the shite.....but 3-5 actually aren't as good and can't step into the starting roll without a drop off. I don't mean to be arguing like this, it's just this up 15 stat is really really weak. Anyways good luck to you and LSU Hope it's a great game

I don't really think much of anyone outside of Ford, Ware, and Hilliard tbh. Blue isn't bad, but I don't think he's all that talented. Productive, sure. Magee is young and he might be good one day.

When we have a good lead Jefferson comes in and runs the ball Between JJ, Blue, and Magee.. well, the only one who impresses me out of them as a runner is Magee.. and that's on very limited carries.

Fwiw I don't think Blue will ever be the starter.

Lacey, because Ford doesn't get near enough carries.

tbh, after last week i think hilliard will be get a LOT of reps that normally are ford's.

and fwiw, hilliard is a better back than lacy

hope he can run all over bama like dalton did his freshmen year in bama against the bear

I can't wait til Nov. 5th when Bama finds out everyone is not as impressed with them as they are. This game hasn't been a blow out in years and it want be this year, Even when ya'll are better than us or think you are 08,09,10 we still get after you. This is a coin toss like it or not.

tbh i don't see bama blowing out LSU at all. Not a chance. If either team won i wouldn't be surprised. But IMHO, i wouldn't be a bit surprised if LSU won by 14+
