That clusterfrick was the only game I went to that year. I was in the end zone ULM scored in to win it. Melted the entire 2 hour ride home. Hard times in the kingdom

Yea, we won 10 games in '89, but only won 3 in '90, after Hatfield left. The fist half of that decade was super rough for us.
In contrast, '12 was just a rebuilding year, imo. It was expected and too much has been made out of it by the media.
