Here’s what needs to happen to the CFP and the NCAA.

The SEC needs to expand to 24 teams and we need to just give a big fat middle finger to the rest of the NCAA and say frick off.
Make our own post season playoff culminating in an SEC championship and say screw off to playing with Notre Dame and the G5 teams and the Big12 pretenders.
The closest conference is the Big10. But even they only have two good teams.
Invite some teams and make our own post season playoff.
We rewrite contracts with the bowls and say F off to the rest of the nation.

Interesting. The two BIG teams remaining are different from the last 2 national champs, evidencing there are more than 2 good teams.
I think everyone should accept, there are about 20 legit CFB teams across the conferences.

The sec and big ten should finish gobbling up the remaining relevant football programs and then break off. The sec and big ten could each do their own separate playoffs in whatever format they want and then at the very end the sec champion plays the big ten champion for the national championship.
