I wasn't being an arse. You know and I know that a media love-fest is required to win the Heisman, and I have yet to hear his name being thrown about nonstop. It's Tebow's award to lose.

His name has been on ESPN more than anyone else's the past two days. Was talked about today on M&M in the Morning, Sportscenter(Nutt was interviewed), Skip Bayless actually said how much he loved the team and talked about Snead, etc.

His picture is on the front page of USA today sports. Trust me. He's getting plenty of publicity. He just has to get the stats to prove it.

Nope.

And I'm wanting Ole Miss to get other hardware before worrying about that one.

Yeah not trying to talk crap but I would be more worried about winning the SEC before the Heisman.

That's one nice thing about having Nutt as a coach, as long as yall finish at least 2nd in the division it's rings, t shirts, and hats for everyone. Along with a nice big "We didn't finish last in our division" painted on the side of the equipment truck. Note to idiots. THAT is how you poke a little fun at Nutt without being a douche bag who resorts to stupidity that isn't even true.

Completely agree. While it would be cool to have a Heisman winner, I'd much rather make it too Atlanta.

Here's an interesting question.

Who was the last QB Houston Nutt put in the NFL?

Here's an interesting question.

Who developed Clint Stoerner into a good College QB only to leave after a falling out with the Head Coach about how to actually develop a QB?

Who developed Tavaris Jackson into an NFL QB?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I like Snead and he will have a good year but not a Heisman-type year.

ok i guess this thread is pointless now after last night. thank you. this is exactly why ole miss fans need to quit yelling heisman everytime they get an offensive player who can stand out a little.

Heisman Trophy Candidate Jevan Snead, QB

Snead completed 7-of-21 pass attempts for 107 yards and one touchdown and lost one fumble.

Uh sorry not Heisman quality. Plus ESPN said this morning that he was quoted as saying he was "glad the pressure is off"

That's just sad
