Not sure if you mean literally or you are saying that this was the same type of argument Reggie Bush=Cam thus Cam got paid or what.
Either way...I don't know why I even bother presenting a rational argument. You have nothing to say and no counter is what you are really saying.

All I have to say is that Cecil was found to have shopped his son around to Miss State. When Miss State wouldn't pay, Cam went to his second favorite school at the time (Auburn).
The investigation is ongoing.
That really is all I have to say. Anything you have to add is wishful thinking. Maybe you can tell me how you like to think Cam and his dad don't talk about life changing decisions as associated with money. I'd love to hear it. Tell me How Cam put his fingers in his ears and yelled "La,la,la,la" while Cecil was telling him all about the payday they were gonna get.

Keep dreaming...I got a feeling YOU will never forget it. Stings doesn't it? Bama is back in their rightful place atop the football Mt. Everest....the next year their arch-rival wins it all...plus the Heisman....wiping out every shred of Bama's perceived dominance in this state...at least for a year or so. There, there...it will be ok. Bama has lots of talent, a clean program and I'm sure Saban's head can be frozen cyrogenically and he'll be able to coach from a glass sphere on the sidelines for decades.

Anyway, to add another argument to the original topic:
I still find it amazing that Chiz wasn't voted the SEC coach of the year by his peers. Usually when a coach takes a team that was supposed to be at one level and takes them to the ultimate level of competition, he is given the title. The other SEC coaches don't respect Auburn's achievement this year as they normally would.
I seriously find that...idk...disturbing I guess.

What I mean is that they talked a lot about God, had all the kids going to church twice a week, read and quoted the bible, etc... he was supposed to be a man of God...he was supposed to be someone that Cam looked up to. This would have changed the way that Cam viewed his father, negatively and in a big way. So if Cecil didn't have to tell him, why the hell would he??? My personal opinion is that Cecil reconciled doing this because he was planning on spending the money on the church. But that's just my guess and probably what I want to believe. It makes a hell of a lot more sense though than everyone else theory that Cam had to know...and then backing that up without even a logical reason why he would have to know, let alone a shred of proof.
Look, My step brother and step father both went to Auburn. I graduated from LSU. I cheer for Auburn behind LSU and was extremely bummed when they got left out last time they went undefeated. I am not some "Butthurt" LSU fan as you would want to believe. Im sorry but I am not drinking the Cammy Cam Red Drank. You cant sit there and tell me that a grown arse man like Cam didnt question his fathers motives for suddenly going cold on Miss State where his old coach Dan Mullen is the Head Coach. Then say he just left it in his fathers hands....to choose Auburn once it has come out that Miss. St decline to pay the 180k. You are another Aubie that needs to get his head out of his arse. Furthermore to say that either are stand up individuals is laughable at best.
With that said...they were the best team on the field this year hands down. Cam and Fairley were beasts. I sincerely wish all this was not true.

And I find it disturbing Obama was elected. Last time I checked, the majority of people are usually retarded.

Are you saying that the majority of SEC coaches are retarded? They are the ones that vote for coach of the year.

Auburn is dirty on the field and off. And the "It's a God thing, does not help. To say "We are his instruments, he loves us more than Oregon, is blasphemy. This entire year is tainted, and it will forever be remembered as the year of the NC Cheaters. The smell is in the room and it ain't going away. Live with it...............

100% true. Cecil and Kenny Rogers Forest Gump-like attempt to get paid ("how about $100,000 then??" yeah...sounds like a guy with options) blew up in their face...unlike with AU, they had the opportunity to go directly to a booster with money that was a former teammate of Rogers. Now Cecil's response might have been to ditch Kenny Rogers and find someone with AU willing to pay in some very creative untraceable way...and AU might have accomodated him. OR, because it was the first time Cecil had done anything like this and it clearly did not go well, realized that it was a bad idea to begin with, had a very weird and uncomfortable relationship with MSU because of the attempt...and just signed with Cam's 2nd choice.

OMG...you say this and then follow it up with:

Life changing decisions as associated with money?? Is that supposed to be a joke? Cecil was about to pimp his son...like a pimp, not a man of God, not a father that Cam looked up to. They would not have been discussing what to do with an inheritance or how to diversify his portfolio or when to go pro. This was a father taking advantage of his son for his own (or his own church) monetary gain. A bit different.

Again...my whole argument is that there is no rational reason to believe that that conversation ever took place.

My argument is that there is no rational reason to think it wouldn't take place multiple times.
Cam had to be a little curious as to why his dad went sour on Miss State.

I totally agree that their championship is tainted. From what all has gone on, I just cant believe everything was on the up and up. And for Aubies to keep sayin everyone is just pissed because they won it is bull. If they didnt have all these allegations I am sure everyone would be happy for a 5th SEC championship and happy for Auburn. However, everyone cant get all the allegations out of their mind.

if they didn't have a close relationship maybe... but if they weren't close then Cam probably wouldn't accept Cecil's instruction to go to Auburn either
Best guess from everyone should be Cecil got paid and Cam knew

I could be wrong on this but the way I remember it, Cecil did not want Cam to go to UF but left it up to Cam. That decision turned out to be not a good one in a lot of ways. Then Cam left the JC decision up to his dad and that turned out to be a good one. To me, this makes the "I left the decision 100% up to my dad" believable. If that is the case, then why pretend to understand their relationship and claim that you know Cam would have stood up and demanded an explanation? If that was a lie the whole time...and they said that to protect Cam from possible future NCAA problems, then Cam was probably involved in the entire decision and knew everything. But nobody knows this but Cam and his dad. Thus-you don't know and neither do I.

Well your 2007 team barely even deserves mention and your 03 team is the only BCS Champion to ever have to share their title. So there's two.
