You can leave out #2. You are no longer the little brother to Texas and are now just irrelevant to Texas.

You seem to have #1 down correctly.

Your new #2 should be "Aggies are most delusional fanbase in the country and seem to believe A&M football used to be the best in nation - but never really was."

But otherwise, I think you've got it down.

We have been relevant but not for long periods of time. We are DEFINITELY not an elite program by any means.

Ags keep mentioning the 80s and 90s. Even though that was our greatest era of success, it really wasn't that great when you look at it.

Sure Jackie was good here. We won the SWC 3 times in his 7 seasons here. We went to the Cotton Bowl 3 times and won 2. From 89 to 98 with RC Slocum, we won 3 SWC titles and 1 Big 12. We went to 8 bowls during that time period and only won 2...including losing 3 straight Cotton Bowls in 91, 92 and 93.

That is not great by any means, but those are our "glory years". A lot of Aggies make it seem like we were some sort of national power during that time frame. In our eyes, yes we were good, but by no means elite. Not even close.

historically we are a top 20 program. Most of us, and a lot of others, believe we have the potential to be a top 10 program. We're basically Auburn. Frick off about the historic top 10 shite... We;ve been below mediocre for 15 years.

I didn't know aTm tanked bowls like that. You do that shite now and we will ostracize you on the Rant. The SEC wins their bowl games. If we do lose on it's due to a fricked up match up with one of our 7-6 teams. That's really no excuse though. If Moo St (gonna be 7-6 or 8-5) loses to say Florida State we would be fricking furious with MSU.

Maybe in like 1930 or around then. Also I imagine that's where their decent win % comes from. Never heard a mention of them on the national level in my 26 years of life other than the made for TV movie.

Since you Aggies think we should only measure you since you became co-ed, I'll start with 1974. That's the first winning season A&M had in the 1970s and the most generous possible by skipping your 6 straight losing seasons from 1968 to 1973.

Based on that starting point (1974), Stassen spits out the following:

7. Florida
11. Bama
13. Georgia
14. Auburn
15. Tennessee
19. Texas A&M
20. LSU
22. Arkansas

Since 2000

Capital One Bowl 6-6 in 12 years in an even match against the Big Ten.

Outback Bowl 7-5 in an almost even match against the Big Ten.

SEC East champion Georgia lost in their Bowl game just last year.

Arkansas lost to Ohio State in their Sugar Bowl.

LSU and Florida have both lost bowl games in years they were defending national champs -- both coming in a 4 year Capital One bowl drought.

Don't say dumb things.

It was your brethren above who said A&M football was historically as Top 10 program. So talk to them about that.

As for Top 20 program? A&M has finished in TOP 20 of Coaches Pool 14 times over the past 55 years. Also, not historically a top 20 team either. Sorry.

If A&M sucks and has never been relevant...well A&M and LSU were probably right next to each other on the chart in 2001.

Two things...

1) Learn to use the reply button. You replied to one of your fellow Aggies. Isn't friendly fire a big no-no in Aggieland?

2) WTF are you talking about? We demolished Ohio State. The following year we demolished Georgia Tech. Your point would be?

Do you really want to compare recent bowl history between A&M and LSU? Is that a road you want to go down?

Since 1989, Texas A&M is 4-13 in bowl games.

4-13.

You frickers make Notre Dame feel happy about their recent bowl history.

You are absofrickinglutley retarded. I know exactly who I was replying to. Don't give a frick about friendly fire. I was telling that poster to check their facts before spouting off.

So 2 things to you.

1. Go frick yourself.

2. Learn when someone is on your side. Jesus you're stupid. Did I compare any bowl stats. During my lsu attendance we were 2-1 in bowl games. One being that 2008 chick fil a bowl. During my A&M attendance we are 1-0 in bowl games while lsu is 0-1 getting shut out in the NC and had difficulty crossing the 50. If you want to compare.
