Yeah he was unhinged. That being said, he had zero support from anyone when he was here.
He’s a giant ogre but I think he’s still smart enough to realize he was brought in under false pretenses. We paid him $900k a year to come in and just restock the team after Cut devastated our rosters.
Between that and the redbull, it was like a bomb ready to go off.
Oh yeah….back to the original argument.
And Tennessee ended up hiring him.

The Wake Forest lightning delay practice is still hilarious to me

JFC.
I think it was that game and Missouri when we held full contact/full pad scrimmage the day of the game.

The rest of your post is literal confirmation that my claim that you enjoy hearing yourself talk to be true.
I previously asked you if he really did. The only response was the 3 yard and a cloud of dust bullshite that you kept quoting saying this guy told you how.
Now you want to make an appeal to authority with Saban's coach talk.
Show me the upgrade in the Alabama offense. The RPO sucks.

I brought Saban’s absolutely confirming opinion into the matter because I know(based on your vast posting history) that you’re a brick wall. You’ll find whatever statistic for your confirmation bias that only holds a very minor part of the larger argument.
You’re more than welcome to disagree with the person who is the foremost expert on who should be credited with turning around his team’s offense….but it isn’t exactly the greatest look. But a familiar one for you, at least.

It was coaches fluff. I've never heard Saban say a bad thing about anyone ever, and he always overstates the things people did around him.
I doubt you'll ever heard his real opinion on Kiffin, whatever it is.
You act like Kiffin parted the sea and took Alabama out of the dark ages.

No. No one stated this. You just(and you have a history of doing this exact thing) forced an argument that wasn’t being made into someone’s mouth so that you can try to disprove it and feel better about yourself.

Let's check.
quote:
Did he though?
He was the OC for 1 National Championship. And that was in 2015 running the shite out of Henry with Jake Coker at QB.
And he wanted Cooper Bateman, and he was the reason Bateman started against Ole Miss that year in a loss.
He did a good job in 2014 with Blake Sims, but I wouldn't say that was bringing us into "modern" era.
I guess that leaves 2016 with Hurts. He did pretty good that year, except once he got hired for another job he turned into absolute dogshit to the point of getting fired because he's a selfish guy who only cared his career.
It was Daboll who won a NC with Hurts and Tua in 2017. I liked Daboll much better.
I think the biggest thing is he was a great offensive recruiter. He definitely stacked Alabama well in the QB and WR departments.
So how did he bring Alabama's offense into the modern time of football? Personally, I like the current Alabama offensive philosophy about 100 times better. I fricking hate relying on explosive plays.
Feels like I'm asking you a question and giving you the reasons why I doubt it. And again, the only response was "3 yards and a cloud of dust".
If your point the entire time was just that he was an RPO coordinator, you could have said so.

“The foremost expert on this subject disagrees with me so he must just be lying” is my favorite argument you’ve ever made. Just incredible.

It means you believe anything people tell you.

And you talk to hear yourself talk.
I don’t recall Saban saying the same thing about any other former OC. But maybe I just missed it.

I debate because it's the best way to understand and learn new things. Again, this started with me asking you a question while showing my reason why I doubted it.
And again, all I got was the "cloud of dust and learning the forward pass" nonsense. Not a single mention of it being because of the RPO, I had to figure that out based on your appeal to authority with Saban.
Saban is coach speak and PR to the max. I would never call installing the RPO that, and it's not really accurate. It is however a very nice thing to say about someone who is obviously a very good offensive mind.

If you were making the same argument as Saban, then why didn't you mention the RPO instead of "3 yards and a cloud of dust and learning the forward pass"?
I literally asked you why, and nothing about the RPO.
