Southern Cal was hit with NCAA sanctions before he coached his first game, and had 10, 11, and 10 win seasons after he was fired. The 30 scholarships Southern Cal lost were the most a program received since SMU.

Yep. The reason they hired Kiffin was he had a great plan on how to get through it with minimal pain in how he shuffled the scholarships around.

He ultimately fricked himself though. He seems to have learned from it, so I don't generally hold it against him.

It isn’t a claim. It’s factual.

It's not.

I’ll do you a favor. The answer is in this post.

Yep, still the same stupid generalization as before.

Kiffin came to Alabama in 2014. If you want to give credit to someone for turning Alabama away from a "3 yards and a cloud of dust" offense, then it's either Jim McElwain in 2011, or Doug Nussmeier.

Although really, we are still mostly just talking about a departure from 2009/2010 seasons, not so much Alabama historically.

Bonus funny thing: The guy who is credited with being the first the modern receiver was an Alabama player. So if you really want to get down to "incorporating the forward pass", an Alabama player basically invented it over 80 years ago.

His name was Don Hutson, otherwise known as the "The Alabama Antelope". He created many of the modern pass routes used today.

But yeah, that Kiffin he sure did bring the pass to Alabama.

Almost there! Gold star effort so far!

I can’t wait for you to find out who else credited Lane for modernizing Alabamas offense. That’s going to be a spectacular moment.

Yeah, I would say he left all 3 better off. Tennessee destroyed Tennessee afterwards.

You're a fricking idiot.

Piece of shite left the NCAA snooping around. An even worse piece of shite, Ed O, was calling recruits telling them not to enroll. I hope that SOB chokes on his own vomit.

That’s ignorant. When he left UT he destroyed the recruiting class, telling kids to not show up.

Everyone’s fav shrimp boat captain did the same thing with LSU recruits when he left LSU to join Kiffin in Knoxville.

Sure, I'll let you move the goal posts.

Saban was talking about the RPO, not changing Alabama from a 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense into a passing offense. As I pointed out, Alabama was a pro-style offense before Kiffin.

Also as I stated earlier, I do not like RPO offenses. I think they suck, and they are definitely NOT the future.

Saban liked it because he had a hard time defending the RPO. Mostly because the RPO wasn't even something you could do really until 2009 when the rules changed to allow offensive lineman downfield before the pass was thrown.

Which of course completely fricked the defenses in terms of being able to read the lineman for pass/run on a play.

It’s moving the goal posts pointing out that Lord Saban said the exact same thing that we did.

The rest of your post is literal confirmation that my claim that you enjoy hearing yourself talk to be true.
