Good for you, MullenBoys. That sounds like a wonderful experience and something to be cherished. I don't want to delve into my beliefs too much on this forum but, the arrogance of people like Romeo Delta is revolting and that is why I jumped into the thread. People like that imagine themselves to be above others. Their unbridled sanctimony is such a disgusting personality trait as to make atheists take up religion simply out of spite.

The most wonderful thing I could ever do would be to explain what happened, yet somehow without being told I know I’m not supposed to. Don’t know why, you would think that God would want more people to talk of such things in details but I can’t and won’t.

I have thought long and hard why this thing in my mind says it’s not to be shared in specific details. Perhaps I came to the conclusion that he does not need to be vendicated as a loving God. That’s what I’ve come up with.

I tried to think of ways to explain why I know it was like a trillion to one odds, if even that is enough. I do feel comfortable in saying that in my darkest hour when I needed him most, it would be the eqivalalent to having my car start by itself while my dishwasher turned itself on when I asked for a sign.

None of that happened but it was as much a shock that it actually scared me and I ran from the house. I’ve never asked for a sign again because what happened that night was enough. Keep in mind, I was angry and in a dark period of my life. Not angry at God, just upset that my world was caving in and I needed to know if there was a God and why had he allowed me into this after I’d been a good person all my life.
