That's weird. I can only take mayo when its the base for some other kind of sauce that makes the original taste of it undiscernible.

I remember when I was a kid I used to spend my summers with my Grandparents. When my Grandmother was out and about and Grandpa was in charge of the meals he used to make Mayo Sandwiches and drink a big glass of vinegar. I just cringed remembering those days.

Mayo is good with some meat and cheese on a sammich. Guzzling vinegar is just nasty.
