Probably not a terrible thing for Auburn. Looks like the SEC is starting to figure out Gus's offense.

Not gonna lie, if Gus leaves Auburn, I'll be a lot less worried about them competing with us. He's an offensive genius when he has a real QB.

Maybe that's the Alabama fan in me being naive though

I am going to thoroughly enjoy listening to Gus' country bumpkin press conferences. For an offensive genius he speaks like Slingblade.

Also said that if the UNC jobs falls through, he's going to Ole Miss

Come on UNC!

Until it's time for him to come home, we need to keep him as far away from Arkansas as possible.

Yeah it has nothing to do with playing more true freshman than anyone not named Texas and inexperience...

Best of luck to him. Its a long way from Hughes to Chapel Hill, he's accomplished a hell of a lot in that time period.

Yeah Gus being at Auburn worried me. He is pretty brilliant X's and O's guy. Butch left a good bit of talent up at UNC so he will be good right off the bat. I wonder if he can continue to recruit well at UNC?

I wonder who will be his DC? Hiring the right assistants are the most important thing a new head coach can do.

Good for him, if true. He did a lot for us and really performed well as our OC. No one here is shocked or really caught off-guard by this.

We look pretty good for talent on that side of the ball, so hopefully we can make a good hire and take advantage of our strengths.

I don't think it's just new players. I think defenses have also adjusted to what Gus wants to do.
