as far as the perception, swain didn't play, so it's clear he was injured

He was hurt not injured. It was a late sub by Arkansas that caused the flop.

well if thats the case then the ref stands over the ball until we've had our chance to sub. So i'm confused? Is swain just stupid and didn't realize this rule?

Why do people think he denied it? He all but admitted it was faked. If it was a legitimate injury, he couldn't very well promise that "there will be no questionable issues like that again." It's not like he can prevent an actual injury from occurring.

I think that is exactly what he was saying and I applaud him.
It was very embarrassing for him, and which ever coach did it I am sure received a

You read it your way, i read that as him saying the overacting isn't going to happen. From now on when we have an injured player he'll just sit down. After all swain was hurt so the qustionable activity is the dramatization of it.

You can make that call. But when a team is in the huddle the ref normally will not stand over the ball.

if an offensive team subs, a defensive team has the right to sub also. So if you're saying it was because of a late sub then we have the right to sub, and you're saying swain flopped to get that sub...so he flopped so the rules were followed?

Perhaps. But it still sounds like an admission either way.

I dont care that he flopped. It is part of football. But with Malzahns statements preseason he has to own it.

meh i disagree becuase again he was talking about slowing down an offense, not being actually injured.

I know it's shocking that an auburn fan and a bama fan are coming down differently on an issue related to auburn. I'm just glad we're worth talking about again.
