Jesus. Boom is a grown man capable of making his own decisions. I guarantee you he knows more about the coaching situation, the chances of implementing his system, and the general tenor of various programs than any of us here. Whether or not he takes the Auburn job, I doubt his choice will be because the sewing circle tut-tutted Gus.

Gus will go back to the roots from which he came, the Houston Nutt coaching tree, to find a good DC. Ole Miss will miss Womack.
Highly doubt it. Womack is extremely loyal to Freezus for giving him another opportunity.

Question for OP, do you by chance drink alone at Applebee's, a lot?

I pray to lord $aban that Boom will never return Auburn, because Gus already owns $aban's defense.

EJ may not be upset at all. Auburn has a way of keeping ex-coaches happy.

Oakland's coaching staff is turning over again.
Dare I say it's soon to be Code Orange on the plains?

Gus should have owned situations like that before he made hiring decisions.
Or Ellis Johnson should have been a better DC and understand why he got canned.

What do you know and how do you know it?
I'm interested.
Maybe we can stand next to each other at practice this week and you can tell me all about it.

WTF are you blathering about? Dude sucked and was R-U-N-N-O-F-T. It's pretty simple.
Pretty easy to see he hates Gus or he knows he can't have Gus and will tear him down every chance he gets.

I'm a big believer in read more, post less. You should do the same. In fact, why don't you and Harry Rex Douchebag take a little time off and fellate each other? Y'all can swap coaching tree conspiracies.

Coaches are professionals. As long as things are handled aboveboard and professionally, they don't hold grudges, but if they feel they have been wronged in the slightest they can be petty as hell. They will start a whisper campaign the likes of which most people can't comprehend, and Gus doesn't have anyone out there to counteract it. He's kind of screwed over every one of his head coaches...
You are wrong in every way.
