Peyton wasn't just arbitrarily the number one pick in the NFL draft. He earned it. Can't blame him for lack of championships or Heismans compared to some of the other guys. Also can't discount him because he isn't as athletic as some of the other names mentioned. If athleticism alone puts you on the list the we need to include Matt Jones, who was an average QB but a superior athlete.

The real question is Who is better: Tebow or God? Could they be the same?

If you're going to list Charlie Conerly and Y.A. Title, you should include Babe Parilli. Believe he had a better college career.

Tebow. For the lone reason that he exists.

Arkansas gets screwed on these kinda polls due to our late coming into the conference. We should get a grandfather exemption, and I nominate Joe Ferguson as a candidate.

Tebow may have a lot of heart but he couldn't hold the jockstrap of half the athletes the SEC has put out.
Nameth is 1000000000% better than Tebow and he's just one of the great QBs.

UGA did pretty good when Fran was there, led them to the 1959 SEC Championship. Not sure on win-loss record, stats etc...

Robert Johnson isn't black.
Black QBs can scramble.

ferguson would be there but he did play in swc but was from la. he was probably the greatest high school qb in la. history lsu could not get him because of traditional conservative offense by cholly mac. also missed out on bradshaw. ferguson went to same school as bradshaw and broke all his records.

All those on the list and the others are great QB's. Archie is my personal favorite and I hated Ole Miss when he played.
The guy was an incredible leader and athlete and will always be 1 or 1a or 1b on my list.
Remembering Sullivan, it brings to mind a very underrated wide receiver....Beasley. The guy could catch anything and everything thrown his way.

Princess, it isn't hate. It's recognition that although he is a great athlete, and possibly the fiercest competitor to ever play in the SEC, as far as QB goes, Tebow isn't even in the top5. He's not even in the top2 for ACTIVE SEC QB, so how could he be the best of all time? The fact that you want to bear his children has clouded your mind on this issue.
