We just didn't quite have the depth this year to beat you guys but then again there aren't many who can match this LSU team. I really do think LSU, after a slowish start and middle to the season, has caught fire at the right time.

Thanks Arksulli. Your props warmed my soul a little. We were nervous wrecks with talented Arkansas hitters coming up and our closer struggling.

The weird thing was... I didn't feel it in the 9th. I just had this gut feeling all game long that we were not going to have a great hitting game.
After a couple of lights out performances we were due to come back down to Earth and you cannot have that so-so game and beat LSU right now.

I would have loved to win, but I love DVH took Cronin out after 1 batter to preserve his arm for the regionals. He could have easily left him in for 3-4 innings.

Arkansas will be a tough out in the postseason. The Hogs are a good club.
