Hmmmm what bothered you more, a coach throwing Brent under the bus in the media or Peaches tossing Brent under the bus in the media a few months ago?

I fail to see where Peaches through Brent under the bus, but even if his comments could be taken that way, they have no bearing on his future eligibility do they?

The fact that Goodwin made any comments whatsoever if just stupid. Haha...just got off the phone with my Dad. Said he might stop by and see Coach Newton tomorrow and see what he thinks of what his successor said. I think he was joking. Did not realize that Coach Newton also came from Russellville...

Did I not say that coach's opinions of him had been lowered after today's comments? You do not do what he did today. It's just not right.

My Dad's pretty well respected...should join his friends in AHSAA Hall of Fame in the next few years...

There aren't many coaches in college or HS football that have been coaching in the are for more than 15 years that he's not on a first name basis with...

Yeah, you say that.... then you look at the bammer shite-for-brains that runs the AHSAA and is respected and elected by oh-so-even-handed guys (yeah sure) like your Dad and that's all I need to know.

My former AU roommate is a high school coach in Alabama and thinks the world of Goodwin. Seems the only ones that DON'T are the ones with their noses so far up Saban's a-hole they know what he had for breakfast.

Funny you should say that since Pops was the president of his district...

Hated that damn job. I did too. Once a month I'm left in the main room of fricking Lloyd's on 280 while they had their meetings.

Still can't stand Lloyd's.

You sound like you have a lot of hostility. It's okay. None of this stuff really matters.

And my Dad only met Saban once when he was recruiting the aforementioned player to LSU. Liked him. It came down to LSU and BAMA on signing day. He couldn't stand Dubose and thinks highly of Tuberville. It was Dye who turned my Dad off Auburn. Or to be more specific a few of Dye's assistants.

Wait a minute... you just got finished preaching an entire sermon about your Dad's blessed and honorable "neutrality" didn't you?

No in the third post in this thread I said that the coaches in Auburn did some rather shady things in the 80s that turned my Dad off of that program for awhile.
