Is that why his contract was extended?

I would think the honeymoon is still pretty active if after a 4-8 year, he gets a contract extension.

Are you brain damaged? This was all part of his extension from last year when he had back to back 9 win seasons. It has nothing to do with this year. He only got the extension because the State of Mississippi only allows contracts to have a maximum of 4 years and they agreed to extend it to 2014. This is like the 4th time I have said this in the thread. This extension had nothing to do with this season.

Usually if you are really on the hot seat you can a couple of assistants to deflect blame. If he canned Nix a lot of OM fans would be happy enough as the offense produced this year and defense was horrific.

Not getting rid of any assistants means Nutt got a big vote of confidence.

He hasn't had a chance to get rid of any assistants yet. He'll be evaluating them the next few weeks then he will make his decision.

Look asswipe, just because you say something doesn't make it true.

I don't give a frick about your retarded MS laws. The bottom line is your team finished 4-8, got beat by close to a JC team, and at the end of the day, your coach got a contract extension, whether or not it was agreed to or not last year.

Most people thought he might be fired, but he got a contract extension.

Now go back in your corner, curl up in a fetal position, suck your thumb and yank on your "winkie", and keep telling yourself the honeymoon is over.

The extension was last year, this was paperwork of that extension that got blown out of proportion and everyone in the sec decided to cum on each other in excitement.

So what are you guys going to do about it if your AD is going to reward failure? Fly banners? FOI requests? Not buying tickets usually works too. Wouldn't that be ironic.

Oh yeah, he'll fire Rader this year and maybe some other token staffer but none of the Murray State Mafia.

So awarding back to back 9 win seasons is awarding failure?

If anything, it shows that our AD actually DOES have a backbone and will hold himself to his word. Too be honest, I consider that a HUGE step in the right direction for our AD......considering how spineless he's been over the year.

How much you want to bet Markuson, Shibest, Vaughn, and Decker survive the cuts. Everybody else better be nervous.

Rader has no need to be nervous, he was hired as the sacrificial lamb from the get go. He's gone.

Same thing happened at Arkansas, he just found someone else dumb enough to let him do it again.

So last year he asked for a 5 year deal? And your brilliant A.D. said yes, to what is that like $15 million dollars he got you guys on the hook for?

Like I said earlier, this is a perfect match. The Black Bears posting in here are HAPPY that he got his extension. They love what he's doing.

I'm glad they got the coach they want. I'm sure the rest of the SEC is happy too.

He is not happy about the extension he is saying he is glad Boone didn't back out of the deal after the original agreement. I'm pretty sure Pank is not happy about it/
