One of the key factors in that win was the outside shooting(IE: 3's) in the 4th quarter.
That's one of the shortcomings Carolina has had in previous years. I think one of the benefits of playing Connecticut for all these years is that Coach Staley has learned from some of the early losses. And most of those losses came as a result of UConn putting in shooters late in the game to come up with a W.
I personally feel we may have won another BB championship or two had we had that kind of talent on the team instead of just living in the paint.
That being said, that was a tough atmosphere last night and we were fortunate to come out with the W. Congrats and good luck to LSU. I'm sure we'll see you again
