He stepped up and called Saban's bluff about throwing his family out on the street if he didn't return.

He told Saban to take his threats and coersion and shove 'em.

Way to step up and be a man, Tua. Much respect gained.

I agree that it was the better decision for him and I hope he is able to get back close to 100%. Bama fans on here were pretty sick for demanding that he come back.

To be fair, they paid good money for Tua's services. He doesn't owe them anymore than he's already given though.

I too agree, it is what is best for Tua and his family. Bama has some good QB recruits and Jones is looking good. If Tua's brother stays, Bama is fine. Honestly, just get a dang kicker that can hit the broad side of a bran would be OK with me.
Tua does not need to gamble getting hurt again in college. I had much rather see him play in the NFL. Thanks for the memories though TunaMan...mahalo!
