Does the back say:

"I got Chizzed by seven coaches at one time on the Tiger Prowl '09"?

I got your back in the other thread about Bama...but with the limo thing, I have to call it as I see it. But you're right, if Les had done it, I'd probably only say rather than Gay, so I'm sorry I hurt your feelings.

Tiger Prowl >>>>>>>>>>>> Crimson Caravan.

By the way, dinky is PISSED about it because he didn't think of it.

AU is getting attention about this locally and nationally. Other coaches around the country will follow too at some point I would bet. It was a good idea and original. Too bad lil dinker would just have to be a copy cat right now.

Get ready gumps, AU is about to beat Bama in recruiting and reality is going to set in that AU is not going anywhere.

I hate Auburn, but I'd love to see that.

In an interview yesterday, Head Coach for UConn (who just had four first round picks from his school) Randy Edsall said that this tactic was insane. It doesn't deal with the reality of the situation. Any recruit that goes along with a tactic like this and makes a decision based on something flashy has to essentially be "de-recruited" when he finally goes to a school. This hardly ever works out very well. I think he is spot-on in his assessment.

Edsall has a grudge against Auburn due to that game against Syracuse in the Pat Dye era that ended in a tie. Screw him

Bingo. Sent Dye thousands of ties. Dye turned around, auctioned them at $100 a tie and raised tens of thousands and gave the "cuse" a big frick you, thank you for the $$$$.

That may be well and true, but what about his point? Is all this flashy shite you guys are doing going to backfire when these recruits get to Auburn and realize that big time University football isn't all limos and bright orange bowling shirts?

I will give you this. There is definitely a lot of attention being given to this, but in the end a recruit is NOT going to base his decision on whether or not a coach showed up to his school in a limo. It will be about PT, Coaching relationships, and can this coach help me get to the next level. Chiziki hasn't established himself as the person to do that yet. He'll have to do that with some underrated guys FIRST, before the big boys will want to roll with you. That is basically why I don't think you will beat us in recruiting this year. If and when Chiziki starts turning 3 stars into NFL talent, then you will have some more of the 4-5 stars listening. But it won't happen on a big scale until then.

Auburn is a football power that has proven itself to be a pipeline to the NFL for decades.

Enough said.
