Three quarters Vandy scored ZERO points. No TDs, just 2 FGs, one a 46 yarder. The D was fine. Got a couple of sacks. Vandy rarely crossed the 50.
Swift with 147 yards. Combined with the others for 323 yards on the ground. And Fromm hit 8 different receivers. No sacks on Fromm. No INTs.
Special teams looked good. Blankenship 3/3 with a 50 yarder. Camarda with 2 good punts, one for 65 yards. Simmons looked good returning punts.
This game was in GA’s control from the get-go. Vandy never once threatened us in any way. The two things you should be concerned about are: the two fumbles & the 10 penalties.
Other than that, stop whining bc GA only won by 24 & didn’t RUTS an outclassed Vandy team by more. Instead of focusing on your unreasonable expectations for our first game —a conference game & Away no less — consider all the good.
And no one’s challenging GA in the East. No. One.
